It’s a wild place only 4 hours drive from New York City, great mountains, lush forrests, clear streams, lakes, solitude if you want it. Harsh and cold winters, glorious fall days, nasty in the late spring when black flies will eat you alive.
The High Sierras may be more, more, more but ….. this is my home and why not share it with some one who knows only the concrete towers of Manhattan.
