Roy is a 70 year old guy from Brevard, NC who has been exploring with us since May 9, 2008.
About Me
I am a retired engineer/manager that spends a good part of my time – usually twice a week – hiking in the Pisgah Ranger District of the Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina. This is a beautiful area and the wild flowers this Spring were fantastic. I have 2 married daughters and 3 grandboys. I really enjoy showing them the out of doors.

The Grand Canyon
The hike to the bottom of The Grand Canyon and return was really tough! However, it was also one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Great times with great friends. Our hiking group has continued to get together for great hikes – the Smokeys last year and the Sierras this year.
