My Favorite Place
Morris Meadows
There’s nothing like those high country meadows, and this is my favorite.
I was on a solo backpacking trip here once when an unexpected storm came through. Before I knew it, there was a tremendous thunder and lightning show, and I was witnessing it from the middle of this gorgeous mountain meadow surrounded on all sides by beautiful granite mountains.
The thunder that night was powerful and awe-inspiring. It’s a moment I’ll never forget.
