In preparing for a month long section hike on the AT coming up in a few weeks, I found a number of great sites to help out in planning for slammin that many miles in one stretch. By far the best site out there is appropriately called WhiteBlaze.net – referring of course to the white blazes that mark the entire trail from Georgia to Maine. The site has tons of info and if you can’t find what you are looking for – the members are always willing to help. This is a free site but will gladly take donations to help pay for the cost. Check it out at: |
