Wow, this has the potential to be a really great resource for the off road crowd. I can’t wait to start posting trips to the map. Anyone else this excited??

excited doesn’t begin to cover it.
I am planning a return trip to Jerome Arizona in November and the maps available are fantastic, loads of detail and so many places to explore.

Hey guys – glad you’re stoked, we are too! I’m a Rover owner and I’m looking forward to posting some pics of Colorado trails here soon as the darn snow melts!

Offroading was my main reason for buying the Topo state series maps to start with. I am the vice president of a Jeep club and Topo has been a big help in planning trips. I have always used Topo hand in hand with Google Earth. When I found out NG was going to offer a product with topos, sat images, and the hybrids I knew it was going to be a great help. Now that I am getting a better understanding of how the trips database is going to work I am really looking forward to where this whole thing can go.

Mr. Coz – You don’t happen to be in Colorado do you? I own a Land Rover and I’m looking to go out with a club in the area some time this spring (assuming the snow ever melts). I’m a bit of a novice to offroad in cars – done a lot of motorcycles – but eager to get my disco dirty this summer.

Thanks – Mike

I’m planning a trip to the Silverton-Ouray area mid June. Sure hope the Triton map transfer thing works good by then. My 5 “free” topos were for this area. I’ll probably get 5 more once the store is online. I haven’t played with the trip upload-download feature much, but if anyone has good stuff on the Alpine Loop (Engineer Pass and Cinnamon Pass) I’d like to see it. We might try Imogene also, but I don’t think I’m brave enuff for Black Bear.
