Ever spend more time looking for a route than you had daylight left to climb it? I have! This site will allow you to post approach hikes and GPS coordinates for the location of specific routes. No more searching the guide book to figure out what crag you are at or clambering through boulder fields looking for the next cairn. If you use a GPS you can post trails, mark the base of specific routes, and share that info with friends. If you don’t have a GPS you can download the tracks that others post, print them and take them with you. I’m thinking that this site will save me enough time to squeeze in at least on more route a day! |
Whether you’re new to climbing or onsighting 5.12, rely on quickdraws or prefer to climb with “friends,” love splitters or hang on crimpers, carry a crash pad or wield an ice ax, this forum is for you.
